No it's a standard cable channel. I can't think of any TV service that has ESPN2 but not ESPNNews. If you have ESPN2, you most certainly have the ESPNNews channel too. Just look for it.

It's on the sports and info pak with cox, along with espnu and espn classic. which is another $10 a month.
