That may only be for those in Wichita. Change you zip to an out of state zip code that usually works. I use to have to do this when I traveled and wanted to watch the game if it was broadcast locally. Not sure if that still works though.

I may have to look into subscribing to SV since I no longer have a relative nearby with Cox service.

Hey, we could just go back to the days where the only option was listening. Not that Mike did a bad job, but anything less than IPD just isn't the same, and we should be happy to get what we get.

I like that. And no doubt about it. IPD is the best. I may have to steal that on occasion.

If I was associated with cox 22 I would be embarrassed to see any clips shown on the local sports cast and the awful quality of the video. But hey what do I know?

When listening was the only option, Mike wasn't the one doing the broadcasting. Channel 10 started doing about 10 road games a year in the 70s and the Shocker Channel offered all of the home games starting around 1980. The Valley also had regional TV packages dating back to the 60s (on TVS).

I understand there are still a few games a year in which radio is the only option, but it hasn't been that way for most games since I have been old enough to pay attention to the Shockers.

Well considering the highlights (at least of home games) are in pretty damn good quality....

Cox22 is all stretched out on my broadcast.

Is it me, or is the shocker vision feed a bit jerky tonight?

@_kai_: i think it is an attempt to improve the picture quality. Not sure, but my experience selling electronics says you play with the output setti gs when trying to improve quality.

Shockervision is working great for me. This is the first time I've watched it this year, and I am pleased to see that they have added a score and clock graphic on the bottom of the screen. Compared to Blur-O-Vison on Cox, this is way better considering you get to have a synced up MK calling the game. Also, I like not having to watch commercials, but instead you get to watch the goings on in the arena and listed to the off-air comments of MK.
