My seat is only semi bad because of the lady behind me who doesn't know a tenth of what she thinks she does. That doesn't stop her from yelling and whinning about everything. Especially if the scoreboard doesn't have all 5 players who are in the game updated immediately. I'm convinced she thinks that's the most important part of the game and should be the top priority of everyone at the table.

And when her dad comes to the games all he does is talk about KU and the B12.

Everyone else helps make the seat worth sitting in and it's fun when we all get to make fun of her quitely. One of these days I'm not going to be able to keep my mouth shut and you may see me being escorted out.

    But the view is fine

That may be true, but the plastic seats in the upper level are not comfortable to sit in, and I am glad that I am in the lower bowl.

I didn't realize that the lower bowl had different seats than the upper bowl? I have never noticed a difference.

I've had tix since 1980. I'm currently at 534 points and rank #278. My 6-8 years of season baseball and 4 years of heavy donation to All-American Club are before the 2004 breakpoint, so are excluded.

The end zones and the about the Top 15 rows on the East side of the arena have the gray plastic fixed chairback seats. They have no arm rests and no cupholders. The rest of the arena has the black theatre style plastic seating with the flip-up seats. All the seating is plastic/PVC type of material.

What I have found attending the Volleyball matches where all tickets are GA is that some rows of the black chairbacks have wider seats than other rows. I suppose it depends on the width of the row and which size seats best fit into that particular width. So if they ever re-seat the arena (which I think is likely) that is something you might want to look at. You might find wider seating with in a row or two of where you are looking.

I hate sitting in seats with cupholders. Really interferes with my leg room

I'm in row 30 and have the same seats as in the lower level...in fact have more leg room than any of the lower level seats I've sat in.

Part of the "leg room" issue is whether the seat you are in is directly behind or offset compared to the seat in front. In other words, do your knees go into the middle of the seat in front (least legroom) or into the arm-rest area of the seat in front (more legroom).

If you ever have someone behind you kick over their drink, and you've stashed your coat/jacket under your seat, you'd be thankful for cupholders. The people next to us got pop on their stuff at the CU game.

That can easily happen with the cupholders also. The are not deep enough and the drinks tend to be top heavy. Veay easily knocked out as people pass by you going in and out. That is why if I do buy a soft drink I get it in the bottle so I can secure the cap.

The annoying lady I dislike so much behind me has had her son kick over his soda a couple of times. She doesn't inform me of this until after my coat/jacket has been tainted with Sprite. But at least I have leg room and I'm not constantly hitting my knees against the cupholders.

It could be worse - you could be sitting near the lady who goes mental every time WSU scores and starts beating on the wall. Sometime she brings a friend and they do it stereo. I don't know what she thinks she is accomplishing beside annoying everyboyd around her.
