Coach Jans kept repeating (as idiots hammered him with stupid questions) that PT is earned in practice. I understand that, but you surely have to adjust. I like Toure, but most everybody on here is a bigger Toure fan than I am. I would have sat him the last 3 minutes for that lunatic shot from the corner, and I would have made him sit with Armstead and Mitchell.

I'm going to say something about the continuing negativity. At some time, we have to move on. Ok, the game was disappointing. We didn't play our best. It was another home game that we lost and we don't think we should lose those. We have a senior laden team and a couple of them were very disappointing and a couple of them did not play good games.
Now, let's use logic. If one really knows sports, you have to admit that we lost to a very good team (for sure a top 30-50 team). Creighton in addition to having good players was trying to win too and they played very physical defense (probably their best defensive game). Teams lose games that they should win all the time. Were the Chiefs better than the Packers? Was Davidson better than KU? To sum up, we lost to a good team that we probably should have won (although not easily) and we'll probably win a couple of games that we shouldn't win in the future. I don't think that I'm pumping sunshine but we need to move on now after a couple of days of venting.

It is finer than a frog hair to discuss the next game. After a big loss, it is human nature to take what happened in one game and not see the big picture. We have a very good team. Yes, we have lost 3 games and could have won them all on other days? Players have bad games, Coaches do too, and 1 of 3 refs had a bad game? The obstacles can all have a ripple effect.
In the scheme of things, the learning curve of a big loss could have a wake up call for the contenders and just repeat too often for the pretenders? Which are we? N. Carolina was Number 1 and was beaten by UNLV. UNLV came knocking at 21st and Hillside and was ranked and we beat them. Mo State went to Omaha and beat the ranked jays. K-who smeared Number 2 Ohio State team(without their awesome star playing) and followed that up with a loss to Davidson? Who? What does it all mean? Dunno, but it is a long Season and the reality of it all will soon unfold. The consistent teams will keep these setbacks to a mild roar and the others will go down with the count. Stay tuned.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

After virtually any loss there is nothing better than cussing, bitching, cussing, screaming, cussing, and blaming everyone, including the water boy(s) to get rid of the frustration. But by now it's time to get over the hurt and to start looking forward to crushing the **** out of our next unfortunate oppononet. And just like us, after CU lost just prior to playing us, they know the Shocks are going to be looking for some sweet revenge.
