Will Josephat play the 4 this year, or 5 only?

I feel that we have some real players at the 1, 2, 3 with Gilbert, Etienne, Dennis being the likely starters and Porter, lil Wade, Jenkins and Council off the bench.

Undersized at the 4 with Wade and Jackson? No PT for Jenkins and Council?

I'll give it a whirl. Of course, a lot of newbies, mostly unseen. Also, I'm assuming the 3 freshmen, will need to beat out both existing players and JUCOs to see much floor.

PG - Gilbert / Porter / Lil Wade

SG - Etienne / Lil Wade / Porter / Jenkins / Council

SF - Dennis / Jackson / Council / Jenkins

PF - Big Wade / IPBC / Bilau / Seymour

C - Bilau / Udeze / IPBC

Udeze, IPBC, and Bilau cover the 5.

Gilbert at the 1, with some combo of minutes by Porter and Lil Wade. That's a very experienced SR and 2 JUCOs behind him.

Sr Big Wade at the 4, with experience backup from IPBC, RS Bilau, and Fr Seymore. It's going to be hard to take very minutes from this group.

That leaves the 2 and the 3. Right off the bat, Etienne and Dennis may play as many or more minutes than anyone else on the team. Plus, JR's Wade and Porter can play the 1 and 2. What ever is left at the 2 and minutes not used by Dennis at the 3 is left. Jr Jackson, Fr Jenkins, and Fr Council divide those.

Until we actually see the new players, we won't know how close (or better) the freshmen will be to JUCO juniors.

I'm real excited about all the new players, but there is also a lot of unknowns at this time.

The way Udeze and Poor Bear foul, we may need all three to cover the 5. I have less confidence in IPBC playing any at the 4 than Josephat. He’s never been able to handle one position, let alone two and his natural position is the 5.
