If our boys go all UNLV on the Crayon Blue-cheese to usher out the old year and bring in the new, I'm gonna buy the whole stadium a round!

I ran into a CU fan hoping the refs let them play - then predicting Stutz would foul out. After I stopped scratching my head, I thought maybe this would be a good chance for Orukpe to get his first double-double if all that happens. Orukpe is massively quicker than Echenique and Artino is something like 6'11" and 200 lbs.

Thanks to my Shocker loyal and wise extremists for the kind words. However, what I just said will be a "Sunday School Picnic" in terms of the overflowed Chuck tomorrow night. We will pump up the volume to such amps that the hound dawgs in downtown Omaha will be howling at the moon to jump start the bus to destination "went to LA, by Omaha." Total black and yellow victorious panoramic karma will migrate blue jays back north with the record of 0-2 to jump start the Shocks to Happy 2012 where dancing with the stars becomes real again? Right now, it is only a dream. Stay tuned.

Getting beaten by a girl is nothing to be ashamed of. There were two girls that lived on our block as a kid. One could kick anyones butt in a fight (up until 9th grade) and the other one could smoke you in a game of basketball. The basketball player I think went to ku on a scholarship and I see her from time to time at some Shocker baseball games and I think she could kick some serious butt now by the looks of her. JJ probably remembers both of them.

Wichita doing a "Black Out" tonight huh? Glad they picked an original team to do against. We picked WSU for White Out cause of alliteration

Isn't "Black Out" what most Shocker fans do on a nightly basis anyway? I mean, most live in Wichita. Wouldn't you?

Can the students all bring red solo cups and sharpie $1 on them? Then at the end of the game they can hold them up and sing red solo cup to make fun of $1 beer nights in omaha :)

"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

Reading this thread has made me all jumpy. This is gonna be a whale of a game. At first I was thinking of a low scoring game, because that's how they usually are, but I remembered Creigton's D is shaky on the inside and they can also score pretty well. I believe we can win this game, but it will be hard fought. After the analysis, I predict:

                                Shox: 78
                                Chickens: 72
