      • Sounds like Taylor needs to be on some anti-psychotic medication.

I thought the problem was with his heart. Apparently, it must be his brain that is malfuctioning. Actually those comments are pretty comical.

After perusing through the threads over at the Mecca, I'm reaffirming my longstanding point that tornado is a moronic douche that knows nothing about college basketball or sports in general. He is a sore, sore, sore, hypocritical loser. I hope you enjoyed that 40 point beatdown on your home floor.

Sorry, I had to get that out there.
I go to opposing teams' fan boards once in a blue moon, and since I seldom go outside to check the color of the moon, I probably miss several of those too.

But your comment piqued my interest and drove me to the Bradleyfans board for the first time in, well, ever.

Yes, Tornado is a moron, but you could tell that without even processing the content of his posts; if you can judge a person's intelligence by their ability with words, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization (and I think you can), it appears Tornado couldn't pour water out of his shoe with instructions on the bottom of the heel.

That said, he appears solitary in his attitude.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

                • I put up a "don't lose hope" post on the Bradley board. Tornado went ballistic on it.

From my recollection, Tornado was a friend of Jim Les and had inside info and access to BU info when Les was the coach. Tornado thought he should have been included in the search committee for the new coach. Really. Tornado was a well-connected guy at BU, but thought he was more connected than he really was.

Tornado is still bitter that Les was fired. Since he wasn't on the search committee, it didn't matter who was hired, Tornado wasn't going to support their choice. Tornado owns the BU board and is famous for deleting posts and banning users who dont agree with him.

The worst I did was to say that BU had nothing to stop Stutz or Hall in the paint or Murry driving to the hoop - so they had to go to the zone. That fueled the anti-Les crowd's argument that Les' recruiting didn't leave Ford a lot to work with, which pushed Tornado's button. It's Tornado's position that hiring Ford is the reason that BU doesn't have any front court players able to compete with WSU's front court players.

The Bradley board is kind of interesting from a surreal standpoint. If you visit there, don't say anything negative about Les or you are likely to get banned.

Response: “If I had stopped the first three offensive rebounds, we would be talking about a win right now.

Question: “How does WSU compare to some of the other non-conference opponents this season?”
Response: “WSU is a good team, but we have played better teams…our 12 or 13 guys are better and we should have come out of here with a W.”
Beating him by 39 in his barn isn't enough? What does he want when the Braves come to Wichita? Trash talking after a beat down like that is a little unusual.

Appears that he has a disconnect with reality. How does changing two or three shots affect a 39 point blow-out at home. How are all of your players better than the team that just spanked your team?
Does he realize that they have a game at WSU in Koch on Jan 13? Does he really want to see an angry WSU in about two weeks at their house?

                      • The Shockers were magnificent against the Bradley zone though. Great patience, like from a veteran, well-coached team. One trip down against the zone, every WSU player touched the basketball at least three times etc etc. And the few times Bradley looked good in their half-court man-to-man, WSU broke it down. I do hope that WSU can keep this up all year through the bumps and grinds of the Valley.

Some Bradley fans are on edge now, but that's OK. They'll get one back at, say, ISU's or MSU.

I get what he's saying. Those three early 2nd-chance buckets set the tone for both teams. Had he (or anyone on BU) secured those boards, perhaps the game doesn't get out of hand and stays competitive.

That said, I think Mr. Brown must have slipped outside before the post-game presser for a smoke.

Since he sourced me directly (incorrectly, I might add), I set him straight.

A BU fan in that threat actually said:

As someone here recently said, new coaches sometimes purposely lay eggs in their first year so it looks like they have improved the next few years.

Seemed far-fetched when I first read it, but this actually makes perfect sense and would explain a lot of what we've seen so far...
                                Wow.
