Graduate transfers are a huge part of college basketball now. Here is a look at the top graduate transfers in the county, and where they will be playing next year.
"Graduate transfers have become one of the most important steps in team building over the last decade of college basketball. With more players than ever leaving early for the professional ranks, filling a roster with experienced players is something that a lot of coaches really believe in. Here is a list of the top graduate transfers, where they committed and what they will bring to the table for their new school....
No. 30 – Alterique Gilbert (Wichita State) - Former four-star recruit who has battled injuries. Should have a starting role for the Shockers"

Suprised by how low he is. The vast majority of the guys ahead of him "transferred up". In some cases WAY up. History has shown that most all of those guys will become role players at best on their new teams. (See Cane Broome at UC, went from averaging 23 ppg to 8. Or Monty Scott at Temple went from 17 ppg to 7 ppg). Gilbert is moving laterally and in the same conference so you can expect his numbers to be as good or better especially going into a likely starting role.
