I don't know why the NCAA just doesn't announce it already. It's obvious the tournament is canceled and all the schools/teams/conferences know it.

And it all started in China with a government who, at the beginning was trying to hide the issue from their own people and later from the rest of the world. They refused to allow Scientists from the WHO, etc. in (at the beginning), and therefore what we couldn't learn from the disease in China, we had to catch up elsewhere. Too bad more people had to get sick and die because of their refusal to work together with the rest of the world earlier. Hats off to Korea who seemed to get a handle on it seemingly quicker than China. Much of what we know came from Korea, and we are still learning everyday.

I love how some just dig in deeper to hold onto their position. One there is vaccines for the flu, yes a lot die. There is no vaccine yet and will be a year before one probably pops up. All major players with a lot more information than us, say this is a big deal and precautions need to be taken so there is no more unnecessary death than needs to be, hence why you try to reduce the curve. Quit using defection defense, everyone on here knows the flu is deadly, so is driving a car, flying, war, old age.

You have no numbers to back up your statements. Therefore they are assumptions. I would rather my elected officials over-manage this risk as opposed to under-managing it. They seem to be thinking that the death rate is 10X what this year's flu was.

Did you read the link from a scientist? Just keep digging. The vaccine by the way does prevent (not 100%, I know that) and can keep you from having as sever a reaction if you do get a strain that was not covered.
