I mean the numbers aren't great so far. To date the global fatality rate is 3-4%, but the US does have the strongest healthcare system in the world so our effective rate after it takes hold should be lower... you would think.
I'm not the slightest bit worried about myself, or my demo cohort, but I'd really prefer the more elderly people I love and care about not get this crap. I think 3-4% is many times more deadly than the typical flu. It doesn't deserve mass hysteria, or the flame fanning our media is getting done so swimmingly, but it deserves something more in response than the everyday flu.Comment
