Our "improvements" was awful defense and coaching by SMU. Memphis didn't get the memo.

If we have players that aren’t good enough to compete for minutes on this team, they need to be cut loose. Just the way it needs to be. Some guys getting minutes need to be cut loose as well.

Last year‘s end-of-the-year shocker team would beat this current shocker team by about 25 points. Anyone who thinks we’re just young and are going to be somehow magically way better next year is delusional.
