Two interesting games this Saturday, that will have an impact on WSU's RPI.

UNLV at Illinois and Alabama vs K-State at the Sprint Center.

      Also Temple at Texas.

Most interesting game involving an MVC team is Indiana St @ #25 Vanderbilt.
That would be a really nice win if the Sycamores can pull it off.

Charleston Southern won handily, around 20. UNLV struggled by won by about 10.

Interestingly, Charleston (whom we beat to advance to NY last season) moved to 8-1 beating Tennessee at home 71-65. They also beat Clemson at Clemson earlier this season. Charleston faces Charleston Southern next before traveling to #4 Louisville.

updated original post. Valley went 1-0 and non-con opponents went 2-0 (although against poor competition).

Charleston blew up The Citadel (RPI 331 - ala SIU), 88-69. That put CSU's RPI at 114

There's an interesting logjam at the top of the Big South:
            CSU - 114
            UNC - Asheville - 120
            Coastal Carolina - 121

It was more interesting earlier today when the BS had 114, 115, and 116. CSU is looking like a decent win, but with those being the highest RPI's in the conference, it's likely CSU's RPI will drop, instead of rise. CSU could be a top-150 win, but that doesn't really matter, except that it doesn't mess up SoS.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Bradley up on the road at the half at George Washington 34-29.

Let's hang on to that lead Braves.

Edit: Braves hang on by the skin of their teeth 67-66.

Bradley has been probably the league's biggest overachiever (with Drake a close second) in terms of non-conference RPI. Good for Coach Ford.

I bet SIU's message board would be a fun read

Mr. Ricky Del Rio predicted the abyss for SIU and he was right.

RDR rec'd lots of crapola from the Doggie fans, but I think everyone but SIU fans saw this coming. It is stunning. Has one coach gone from a #4 seed in the NCAA tourney to being below 300 in the RPI?

TT and UE is the close game of the day so far. That's Tennessee Tech - not Texas Tech.

                            UE (RPI 258) - 61
                            TT (RPI 249) - 65

5 minutes left. Game is in Evansville, so it would be considerate of the Aces to pull this one out.

I'll just edit this - no sense in wasting another post.

                            TT - 72
                            UE - 70

                            Final

Temple getting blown out at Texas. 76-60, a minute to go.
