uh, Memphis is just another overinflated team. Beating them was not impressive. Tulsa beat them by 40.

Never said it was. Just said after that game we have failed to improve, and we have not played well in a single game since.

Last play didn’t work but JB shooting a 10-15 footer wasn’t a bad play. He didn’t execute but he hit several of those shots in the 2nd half. Tulsa wasn’t going to all JE to catch a pass inside in that situation.

The Super Bowl BS doesn’t work when you score 51 and shoot 35% from the field, 20% from three. That’s just bad basketball and you deserve to lose.

Im not saying we deserved to win, but joiner played out of his ass and i would wager he doesnt do jack squat the rest of the year.

The fact that it was that close when the other team shot 50% from three is surprising. The whole “super bowl” thing is a little demeaning to your opponent, so I’m not going quite there, but it is amazing how much opponents seems to get up for us. Always someone having a career day when we lose it seems. Some of that falls back on us, ultimately.

We had tons of open shots, you got to hit a better % than this. Our late game play is really bad and that is on the players. Burton spin move was on him, he’ll just take it strong and draw a foul. Spinning in the lane is crazy

We shut down Their 3 main guys. Someone had to go off. Tulsa tried to do the same thing to us but we didn’t have anyone step up.

I'm starting to get apprehensive about next year...even when this team wins against decent competition it is always ugly... and for some reason beginning to think this will be the case next year.
