If this article from Ballin' Is a Habit is accurate and other teams figure it out, our loss to Alabama may be worse than we thought.

We'll see as the season progresses, however, about a week ago, I was questioned about a comment I made that I didn't believe they would end up a top 20 team. We didn't play well against them (yes, I understand their great D) and was still in the game until late in the second half. VCU stayed with them until the last 5 minutes at Alabama. Now Dayton beats them by 12. The next couple of weeks might tell us more.

Drake beats Eastern Michigan 66-53 after an awful first half where they trailed 27-24.

VCU should be pretty fun next year. They are playing on the Deuce right now, seem to have a great home atmosphere.

Indiana St (6-2) vs Maryville (MO) - 12:05pm CST

Minor point. This isn't accurate by ESPN. Ind St is playing D-II Maryville University out of St Louis which is currently 5-1.

Northwest Missouri State is located in Maryville, MO, and is very well known for its D-II football program. Its men's BB team is currently 8-0.

Hopefully the Jays have a strong second half in them, they're going to need it. St. Joe's is no joke though- top 40 RPI and they were actually favored by a point in this one.

CU looks like a 3-shooting team and that's about the extent of their offense. At one time St. Joe's had a 21-11 rebounding edge. CU only hitting about 1/3 of their shots. McDermott is 5/10. The rest of the team is 5/20.
