I think UNLV makes it to Wichita undefeated. Here, let's take a look at their next two games before playing us:
Nov. 25 vs USC (2-3)
Nov. 30 at UCSB (4-0)
UCSB may be the only team to give the Rebels a rough time, but I strongly believe UNLV has a better team and therefore wins them both and comes to Wichita undefeated and possibly ranked.
Second, let's take a look at some of Creighton's biggest upcoming games:
Nov. 25 vs Campbell (5-0)
Nov. 30 at San Diego St. (6-1)
Dec. 19 at Tulsa (4-2)
Dec. 22 vs Northwestern (4-0)
Dec. 28 vs Missouri St (3-0)
I think Creighton loses two of these games.
Also, Indiana State plays at #22 Vanderbilt (at least #22 for now) on December 17th and we'll play them at their place before they come to Wichita, so I think one or two losses is highly possible.
Not so fast my friend....although UNLV has an underrated UCSB team before they arrive. The Gauchos are a 1 point OT loss to SDSU from being 5-0.
I was really hoping that we were the next team on UNLV's schedule because the game following an upset like that screams trap game and I'm afraid that UCSB might just pull the upset themselves and cause UNLV to come into Koch focused rather than arrogant.
