WSU vs UAB Prediction Thread

Personally, I'm ready to move on to looking forward to the UAB game. Especially since this will be the first Shocker game that I'm taking my son to with the tickets I got from the Greater Wichita Sports Commission.

So far, the Shocks have looked pretty good at home against weaker competition and not so good against some really good competition on a neutral court. Seeing as how this is a team somewhere inbetween at home, I'm going to go ahead and start the predictions with:

I have no idea, but the Shocks performance in PR is probably not going to help any. Who knows, it my even supress turn out some. One thing the UAB game has going for it is that is is not a slam dunk win but it is a must win.

I'm still going with 11k. Based off of talk here, it'd be way under. Considering the performance in Puerto Rico, I'd say it'll be under. But 11k in my mind was going to be on the lower end. But, consider The Roundhouse isn't even sold out, maybe that's a little too high. You'd hope we'd at least pull in what The Roundhouse holds.

Any guesstimates from those who stalk ticket sales?

Im afraid its going to be quite a bit under 11,000. They way some fans have complaining about the prices my guess is going to be about 8000. Should be a good game but I expect an easy win for the Shockers coming out with something to prove after their 1-2 finish in PR

I have some family coming from out of town and I bought them some $10.00 tickets so I wouldn't have to leave them. They've always thought that WSU has a passionate fan base. They're KSU fans but like WSU too. It'll probably be embarrasing.

I think the crowd will be surprisingly larger than anticipated. I know a lot of my friends have purchased tickets since they dropped the prices.
