I'm following the Shox from nyc and had to watch the game in a loud crowded bar. Can someone clear up a couple things for me...first, why hasn't Murry been starting, second, what was the deal with our 3-pointer at the end of the first half not counting??
Although the loss was quite disappointing, I'm not too down about it, considering what I saw to be some big positives. Namely, the play of Hall. He was very impressive, and combined with EO's improvement puts to rest my worries about our frontcourt. I know Stutz and Rags both had bad games, each for different reasons, but they're both seniors and smart players and they'll both get on track. Some other positives were the play Murry and our rebounding. Murry is showing that we DO in fact have a go-to guy on offense and he proved he can find the basket even against the most athletic and active of defenses.
One last thing... I understand that one of the team's goals for the season must be to make the NCAA tournament, but I only realized last night that we were attempting to do so with the worst free throw shooting in the history of college basketball. Gotta get better from the line!!!
