Still think that the ACC is more the problem...some other schools in the ACC have a much larger local recruiting base, not to mention those with stronger basketball traditions. One outlier...even a below average program like S. Florida was able to recruit most of its team of "bruisers" from just 2 states, Florida and Georgia. Maybe Marshall's coaching does merit some criticism but bear in mind that Marshall may actually be over achieving getting a 3rd or 4th place in the ACC. Another thing, most successful coaches at WSU have used it as a stepping stone. Marshall seems to want to stick around.

I would be ecstatic to consistently finish 3rd or 4th in the ACC!

"The Sports Drop", whatever that is, put out a list of the top 25 basketball programs of all time.

We have played 13 of them in recent years. Of those 13, we have beaten 9 of them. Only 4 of the 13 we have not beaten. What a remarkable run!
