Really nice start for the MVC. Things might be at least marginally better than last year across the league.

Neither team looked particularly good. Evansville, for all their grab and assault play, managed to get to the line 19 more times than Butler while only committing 4 fewer fouls. The Aces (somehow) continue to get more 2 shot fouls per shitty FGA than any team in modern history. They must employee an acting coach to teach those talentless goons to draw fouls.

It's good for the Valley, but the Aces margin for error is very thin. If Colt or Jahr (whom I think is better than McCoy) gets injured or gets in foul trouble, they're almost dead. They played basically 8 in an OT game where 2 players fouled out. Depth will be a concern as the year wears on.
