Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Ede is "wishing it was announced so I can stop answering questions..." Looks like he's gone. What a waste of talent.

Until we know what happened and what Ede intends to do it's far too premature to say he is wasting his talent.

That he is still in school tells me he intends to finish out the semester (maintain eligibility) and transfer to another school. That could hardly be classified as a waste. A waste is if he did something stupid and got thrown in jail or just decided to quit altogether.

Sometimes things just don't work out.

In the not too distant past an event like this would have generated much more gnashing of teeth and concern. To me it speaks volumes about where SN feels the state of the program is. While none of us wished to happen and many likely hope it all gets worked out, there seems to be very little of the Chicken Little Syndrome that this situation would have generated not that long ago. It's nice to feel that Gregg and his staff have so many options available and that we will still be solid now and down the road regardless of the outcome.

Good luck to Ede. Hope he finds a good fit that works out well for him and allows him to get a good education.

I too wish the young man the best of luck. I am sad it didn't work out here, but now is better than later if it's not working. I hope he's a huge success where ever he ends up. Seemed like a quality young man.

                    Good luck Ede!

As to not worrying too much about it....it helps when you have 16 quality D1 student athletes plus an extremely hard working walk on that can all contribute on both ends of the court.

It makes one speculate whether he was asked to redshirt, and he didn't want to. He was very vocal on Twitter while he was here. It's too bad, I was looking forward to seeing him play for the Shockers.

Anyway, best of luck in wherever you end up.

                        Best Wishes

All the best to young Ede.

The rigors of playing D-1 basketball is not for everyone.

The ability to handle the learning process of major college program is an exercise in patience and virtue.

Of course, if you are a bit sensitive and thin skinned, a few practices with HCGM will quickly indoctrinate you to the world of serious basketball.

You could say they are equivalent of a baptism of fire.
Above all, make the right call.
