              • Damn. Tugs at the heart right there. So happy for Fred. Hard work and believing in yourself pays off. MF'er had nothing given to him. All earned.

                  • So happy for FVV! Well deserved and overdue. The question I have is how does he handle this game once he is on the floor? We all know how driven he is and how he gives 100% all the time. We also know that the All-Star game is a defense optional affair with, at times, marginal overall effort. Not exactly the way Fred goes about his business. I hope he goes out there and locks down whoever he is guarding! Congrats Fred! You make Shocker Nation proud!

                      • He is the shortest ever undrafted player to be named an All-Star. Next shortest is John Starks at 6'3". He's a unicorn.

                            Starks is 6’5”?!?!

I was shocked he was taller than 6'2". I guess you look shorter when you play with Anthony Mason, Charles Oakley, and Patrick Ewing.

EDIT: okay, I take that back. He was listed on Wikipedia and NBA.com as 6'5", but basketball-reference has him at 6'3". That sounds about right.

It's on the net so it must be true.
