AAC has really underwhelmed thus far this season. I definitely over-sold it.

Damn, isn't that the way it goes? I didn't see Houston losing to the Pokes at home and not sure how that squares with our win in Stillwater. But still a lot of basketball to play. We just need to take care of business. The way the freshmen are playing, I'm looking at GS and TE, right now, I'm liking our chances in league play that will result in a very good Selection Sunday resume.

Yes, the AAC seems underwhelming, but to be honest so does the rest of the country. There are few standout teams right now. This season more than any, the NCAA Tourney game winners may rely largely on matchups and the ability of one team to exploit the other.

The landscape of college basketball this season is shaping up to be reminiscent of 2013, which turned out kinda good for us.

The Athletic currently has WSU as a 6-seed playing in Omaha against Oklahoma/Stanford. #3 is Michigan and #14 Northern Kentucky.
