            There is an interesting stat nevertheless. SMU is 8-2 in games he played and only 4-5 in games he did not. If you think that might be due to better quality teams in those 5 loses, consider that Southern Miss, Bradley, and Lipscomb are included in those 5 losses.

                    You mean like the UCF game? 9 pm Wednesday start on a cold and rainy night for a team on 4 game losing streak?

                    My estimates were there were only about 350 people there for that game.

                      Man... I think I need to recalibrate my sarcasm meter.

                      In all seriousness, our home attendance average is something like 10,100 or 10,200 last I saw, in a year with a losing record.

                          Met an old friend named Jack at the store this afternoon and invited him over to watch the game tonight.

                          My beautiful wife suggested I invite at least another friend over, but I had to explain to her that Jack and Chevis just never have blended well together.
