I remember TBT was trying out the Elam ending*. Any word where that stands? I always thought it was a really cool idea.


*iirc, Elam ending says you play a 20 minute half, a 16 minute half, and then the winner is the first team to score 7 points more than the team with the most points after 36 minutes. So if the score is 60-63, it turns into first to 70. The idea is to fix the timeout/foul/FT-athon endings.

To be fair, the campaign for a team was public knowledge, the confirmation of the team being in the tournament wasn't.

I would venture a guess that the players mentioned and others who hope to be mentioned later all have good memories inside CKA that they’d like to relive. This is the essence of what a winning program at WSU provides. It’s probably a pretty big deal to them. Hopefully, Wichita supports it.

ESPN is paying the tab. Koch is the most impressive venue of all the regionals. We will easily lead all regionals/semi’s in attendance. Small arenas, high school gyms being used elsewhere.
