There have been numerous comments here prior to Wednesday about how the D1 game is too fast for him. I was one of those. He's making me eat my words.

I was/am an AM “hater”. It can’t be ignored that the dude was terrible prior to the UCF game. There is a reason why he wasn’t playing much. But I am happy to see him look better than usual during these last two games. Let’s see him do it more consistently now.

I do like what I'm seeing. I hope it just "clicked" for him. You can't teach 7', and he doesn't have to be the quickest, just keep things simple, like his hook shot he just swished. He also made some nice defensive moments where he altered shots.
