        He was at UTEP as a freshman.

        Let's see, should he go recruiting in an effort to make the program better and find studs that will get us back to the NCAA tournament next year, or should he instead entertain Ron and Dennis and answer questions about free throw practice?

          Ron and Dennis (and don't forget Doug and Michael) are 'HOF' pre-game and post-game (Shocker-Locker) callers. Mike and crew quit taking calls during the coaches show... and honestly, it's much easier to listen to and coach gets less agitated. :) Don't get me wrong, I enjoy listening to some of the callers; they can be entertaining at times... other times, I'd like to kick them square in the grapes.

            Either Poor Bear or Morris will probably redshirt next year. They don't need 4 players at the 5. He didn't mention whether any of them are capable of playing at the 4. (This assumes all 4 return next year -- my comment, not 3G's)

            JB excited about next year. HCGM thinks he can be all conference if he can shoot. Is gonna try to make 500 per day this summer

              Gordon gonna have to be a 4 next year, Teddy will be a 4, Dex may play some 4. and you've also got Rod Brown

                Did he mention that one of them was going to Redshirt and if he did, the next question is whether one is willing?

                  Marshall will have the final say on who redshirts, whether they want to or not. If I was to guess, I would say it would be Udeze.

                  Marshall has said on numerous occasions that he will not force a player to redshirt if the player does not want to redshirt.

                  That said I'm sure 3G can be very convincing if he believes a redshirt is in a player's best interest.

                I think it will be Udeze that redshirts because of his injury. Some time off to recover, rebuild upper body strength, work on shooting, and other things that got interrupted would benefit from some time off.

                OTOH, Chandler seems to have had some doghouse moments last season. That's reminiscent of Morris and Durley, but Durley and Morris were needed and needed BADLY. If Chandler feels he might be happier somewhere else, Marshall has little reason to try to sell him on staying.
