    • Congrats to the Bradley Braves, for dropping their home conference opener against the worst team in the league in a blowout. Maybe that'll give the Bradley fans something to talk about, instead of latching onto our nuts.

We're down right now, but we're still better than the best Bradley has ever to offer, including this year.

      Enjoy sucking in suckitude, losers.

The Valley ought to just stop playing regular season conference games and just do a conference tournament in March. Might save themselves a lot of trouble and embarrassment.

        • Valpo beats Illinois State by 2 on a half court buzzer beater. Valpo was down 10 with 2 minutes left in the game. Never bet on the Redbirds late...

            • Seriously, Illinois State is simply a loser program. Its players are losers (see rap sheet), its coach is a loser, its fans are losers. It will always be a loser. It's just destined that way. Lots of bad karma built up over the years doesn't help either. Blowing a double digit lead to Valparaiso and losing on a half court prayer like that is only something Dan Muller and the Illinois State Redturd program could do.

              God, I LOVE it.

I met several pleasant ISU fans in STL over the years.

                Before or after 2012?

            • Is it wrong to laugh every time Barry and the Salukis beat MSU ?? If it is - I sure enjoy being wrong.....they should have never fired him.

Even my wife laughed at that one!

              • Three different teams have been referenced in this thread tonight as the worst team in the Valley. Talk about parity!

Too late. Texas pounded preseason number 12 Kansas state in Manhattan by 20 points. The cats scored 47 points. Looks like going to the elite 8 last year was a fluke.

They miss Dean Wade terribly, but still, picking them 2nd in the Big12 was poor if for no other reason than coaching. At BEST he's behind Self, Kruger, Dixon and Huggy, and in a mix with younger up and coming coaches Prohm, Beard and Smart (I'd take all 3, CERTAINLY Beard, before Weber) then ahead of Drew and Boynton. Shouldn't have ever been picked 2nd.

                  • Is it possible for every mvc team to go .500 in conference? I want to see 9-9 win the league in a 10 team tie breaker that is so confusing to sort out they ended up declaring all 10 teams co champs. The ultimate moral victory. Doug Elgin and all the university presidents that continually held the league back from progress would consider it the pinnacle of success
