Watching Kentucky/Vanderbilt. I know a lot of people hate UK (except when they beat KU) but this Wildcat team is really good.

Just want to chime in that KU folks are now getting a little worried about their future at this point because next year's recruiting class is looking a little anemic. KU's problems mirror WSU's at least to some degree. Over on Phog Net there actually seems to be some resignation seeping in that the streak is over and that the near term future is not looking nearly as bright as it appeared 6 months ago. Don't know if the Shocker faithful will draw some solace from this but the two programs seem to be on a parallel course...

They'll find a way to "pay" some kids. They'll be fine. If not...well then I suppose they'll just have to compete fairly like the rest of their league.

KU seems to come down to earth a bit when they lose just one of their sources of paying players, and the players that source bought. Evidently it's still legal to pay the player's by hiring their dad. "We'll take care of your parents until you get to the NBA" is one hell of a recruiting tool.
