  • Conner verbals to KU

    How?

KU gets a verbal from Conner.

    Perry is next.

None of our coaches were at any of their AAU games last week.

Did we give up on these kids in our backyard?

Need to step it up big time if we want to make it to the tourney.

        +1

If you don't come here often, which is more than quite fine by the way, maybe you should take a look at what's been written on Conner and Perry's threads over the past 10 days before spouting.

Doesn't this thread belong in the recruiting forum anyway?

No offense, but I hope Conner likes pine.

There is no reason to be down about this. We always knew this was a KU family. The only surprise was this early of offer by KU.

IMHO Conner will be a solid contributor at KU. We were probably never realistically in the hunt for Conner. HCGM, no doubt was aware of this and he and his staff were probably wise to focus their time and energy on other players.

                  I have the same feeling.

I think he will be as good or better than Reed and Morningstar. They got plenty of time. While not all on here are convinced that Conner will be a superstar, that sounds a lot like sour grapes.

No sour grapes here. Never thought he was coming to WSU unless other options didn't pan out. I'm glad the coaches now don't need to put any time into him as well as another year of wasted pages here.

I have no idea how well he will do at KU (and don't care), but feel that no matter how little PT he may get, he will be one happy camper there and good for him.

I think it was apparent since before Conner's conception that if KU offered he was going there.

This is hardly a surprise. His family probably put KU diapers on him when he came home from the hospital. He may or may not see PT. Only time will tell. The way that KU recruits burger boys and 4 and 5 stars he may end up as a practice player or carry on and be a one and done guy. I'm betting on the former.

I didn't realize Baylor was recruiting him. In all honesty, WSU probably had a better shot than Baylor, I don't really consider Wichita the "backyard" of Waco. Had your coaches been at some of his previous AAU games? If so, I didn't realize it. Anyway, everyone on this board knew from day 1 if Connor could up his game to a level where KU would even sneeze in his direction, that is where he was going. His family is to the core KU fans and no one was going to be able to compete with that, not even Baylor.
