Actually I turned down Intrust & try to stay out of Park Shitty. My cell phone works in Koch so I have stats throughout the game. I got a 95 year old into IBA ok & we had floor seats. I
I voted for the arena. Its great for the events it attracts to Wichita. But WSU doesn't need it.

The complaining about the parking at IBA is laughable. I can park closer at IBA by paying a whopping $5 or so than I can being a season ticket holder at Koch Arena parking out almost to Eck.

If we are going to have a game at IBA, then I also vote for the UNLV game.
We need the Utah State game at CKA because of the atmosphere there (I was disappointed when we lost to them last year). Would be nice if we could get some TV coverage for both of these games.

I forgot about the no cell service at IBA. That really pissed me off as well. I've never had that issue with CKA.

It was mentioned in todays paper that the UAB/WSU game at Intrust was put together by an Intrust promoter not WSU.

Hopefully this means tickets will be completely separate of season ticket packages. This is the best situation if it is the case. Lets the shox play in Intrust and all the season ticket holders can choose if they want to go or not and everybody can pay for any location they want. Shouldn't hear any complaining.

Last year I was mad at my location till I finally found some tickets that were much better and traded up, this year if separate from season tickets I can control my location up front without having to wait till the last second to find out where I will be sitting.

It's the way it should be done every year.

I want the game as a part of my season ticket package. Prices for SASO and seasons tickets went up and I want the game. They need to improve the process for handing out season tickets at IBA and I think they know that. I still see the IBA as a way to improve our schedule with bigger names who will come to Wichita in the future who won't come to Koch.

If a promoter is putting together the game, then it means we aren't paying UAB $70,000 to come to Wichita. It also means we are getting paid to play there, so this was probably a game we had pegged for a road/neutral site, and wasn't going to be part of season ticket package anyway.

It's a bonus game we Shocker fans don't have to travel very far for.

I don't know all the ins and outs about what constitutes a home game vs a neutral court game, but I'm guessing who promotes the game has little to do with it. Tulsa at IBA was a home game, so UAB will be as well. We had 7 home games last year. If we have 7 season ticket home games plus the UAB game, I'm OK with paying extra for the game.

If we don't play more than once at a specific venue (obviously out-of-town venues for tournaments are an exception), I believe it's technically a "neutral" game. Since WSU specifically moved the Tulsa game from Koch to IBA, it was still technically a "home" game. Since an outside promoter is handling it, I think that changes things.

Not 100% positive, but I believe that's how it works.

If we have 7 season ticket games, without UAB considered (home or neutral doesn't matter), I'm OK with paying extra. If we have only 6 season ticket home games and have to pay extra for this quality game, that's another issue.

I'm with you on that. With the increase in season ticket prices, if this isn't included and we only have 6 home games, I'll be a bit PO'ed.
