I don't know if this has been said already (if so, my apologies).

I see from the Utah State website that we are set to play them on December 10. I hope we keep this game at Koch. Maybe the UNLV game will be at Intrust?

It'd be nice for them to see our true home atmosphere, which is at the Chuck!

I wish we'd keep Utah State and UNLV at Koch but I doubt that's going to happen.

Either way, Utah State and UNLV in the same week at home is going to be fun and should be a nice break from the cupcakes.

I don't know about RPI, but they've won 23 games or more for the past 10 years or so, which is pretty impressive. I think it's safe to say they will be a challenge because they are very well coached, and the coach has been there for quite a while.

It's all about putting our best foot forward, and that's at Koch. They have us beat in overall atmosphere, but I don't think they're any louder than we are, just more organized and perhaps a bit more unique.

Now that the mildkittens are polluting InTrust Arena with a game against WVA, I hope the Shocks NEVER play there again.

I know I am going to think twice before ever stepping back in that arena again.

While it could be better, I'd still take our crowd over many college crowds any day!

I'm confident our crowd will be a bit of a surprise to Utah State. We don't have the organization or chants, but I'll bet our place is louder than theirs.

We've got a great physical facility for getting loud and we have a fan base that loves to peg the decibel meter.

Boring games lead to boring crowds, and we've had our share of boring games the last couple of years. I don't think Utah State will be a boring game.

I'd gladly settle for WSU opening up a 12-pont lead early in the game and just hanging on to that the rest of the game (BORING!), but I suspect there will be some reasons for the crowd to get involved.

BelTone ought to offer a special incentive for any WSU run of 8 or more points that puts the Shox ahead in the game.

Besides pleasing Putz & (earle what does 14_ gain by playing at Intrust? K @ew & the kitties are BcS wimps who run from us. I agree the Shox don't need Intrust (the bank or the arena) & don't need that BcS to the north.

The marquee games are very early in the schedule this year (PR Tipoff Nov. 17-20; UNLV Dec. 4; USU Dec. 10; Tulsa ?). Hopefully we can come out of the gates hot and establish ourselves as the conference frontrunner.

I am very, very glad that this year's tournament has a more balanced field than last season's. Having one game determine the fate of our entire SOS sucked bigtime. As it stands, Maryland might be the biggest potential RPI drag in the bunch :whistle:

Wichita State does not own the facility. You can be mad at K-State all you want, but taking it out on the arena that you helped pay for is probably not the right answer to your problem.
