I am just surprised that this is the best use of the last scholarship.

One year of elgibility and stats do not knock my socks off.

We shall see what we shall see.

When the 2012-13 season gets here, I'm sure we will be happy to have him. I'm still concerned about our frontcourt for this season.

Me too. I'm sure he'll be a fine player, but a one year point guard is about the last thinkg I thought we needed.

Are transfers allowed to play on the Brazil trip?

I'm not too impressed judging by some of the comments posted underneath the story.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

I wouldn't put any more stock into those comments than some comments on this board. :D

Why? Nothing against the kid, but why?

I'm guessing that some of those comment might have some sour grapes involved. I don't know how much PT he will get here. That will be DWills senior year. I thinking Marshall just wants to have at least two proven D-1 point guards.

I am thoroughly disappointed that this is all we could get following our winning the NIT Championship.

Wpw! Maybe if we win the NCAA Championship, we can snag a two-year transfer from a BCS school.

                    3.23% shooting three's sucks.

Me to. I don't really like juco transfers because it takes really 1 year before they really can produce, but now taking a transfer for 1 year.

It concerns me that Creighton has lined up HS PG after HS PG (not combo guards), some of which we were involved in recruiting, and this is what we get. Not exited about his shooting % or FT % and he had 4 or 5 fouls in 13 games this season.

My hope is that we land a strong HS PG for the 2012 class who will be ready to lead this team for 3 (maybe 4) years.

I like the thought of an experienced PG pushing DWill and JRags hard preseason. I also think having two experienced PGs in 2012-13 will be great. We saw what happened with two PGs that werent quite firing for much of the season -- no more of that please.

Overall this appears to be an excellent season of recruiting, and it feels like there are people with unrealistic expectations way late in the game.

He sounds like the prototypical Marshall guard. Aggressive and nasty on defense isn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.... I always felt like we were light one experienced guards after next year... This should help....
