Some of the fans should have stayed in the MVC. It seems some like to avoid competition. There will be losses - look around at other leagues. Competition is good; it makes players and coaches better in the long run. Now, how about the fans. Are they offended by competition or have their little feelings hurt? :) Yes, we should up our fan game also; we still need to be the most feared place in the league for the opposition to play.

Love the American, we belong. The new competition will only make us better in the long run with recruiting, tv , seeding, everything. We’ve hit a bump. Time to recover. Remember the final four year year, we hit a few bumps that cost us the league title and things turned out alright

I for one have adjusted my expectations for this year. We are far from a Final 4 contender.

What I really like about the American is (after the shock of not winning every game wears off) it will give us the mid-2000s crowd and atmosphere with a MUCH better product on the court. The two have become exclusive.
