  • The Shocks did reboot some issues to positives again last night. I especially liked our 16 assists with only 6 turnovers. Kelly and Willis were cleaning glass too as we outrebounded them. We can win games when our energy, hustle, and execution show up like last night. I like us under 10 turnovers where we are not forcing passes and making self-inflicted turnovers.

Question I have is this. In the first half, suddenly 3G seemed to get upset at Kyle and I never could figure out why? Ideas? I have not read this thread from cover to cover so let me know if anybody has input on that occurrence please.

I noticed the same thing but I am not sure what the transgression was.

I remember one time several years ago that coach got mad and was yelling at his assistants during a home game. The explanation that Marshall gave is that each assistant has very specific duties during a game which includes making sure that certain position players are doing certain things and being verbal with them to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to do. In this particular instance, Marshall did not feel like they were carrying out their duties especially yelling out instructions to the team. Could easily be similar situation last night.

    • LS had 6 assists and only 1 turnover which is as cool as rain. Get this. Our bench with the shakeup of our lineup last night resulted in 50-22 surpass on bench points. Here's an area still not clicking. UCF had 3 steals and we only had 2. Back in the Cotton, FVV, Baker days, they made a living in our foes passing lanes with D-Fence that often ignited our offense.

Looked to me Kyle must've been having bad gas and Coach quite aggressively told him..."That's enough man...cut it out!!"

You could tell by the other coaches faces that they were trying to hold their breath and act calm.

I am pretty sure it had something to do with not speaking up about the foul situation. One of the assistants “attempted to” but seemed to get nervous about following through. When HCGM looked up at the scoreboard and realized nobody said anything he went ballistic.

i know it was quite a tragedy that MM went in the game, in the first half with 2 fouls. Surprised we were able to recover from that and still win!
