Just sayin...whenever another team shoots really well, many of our fans talk about them getting the benefit of “soft rims.” Now, when we shoot like crap, we complain that the rim is “soft.” Excuses anyone?

Not even sure the most intense GM ass chewing is going to change things enough in the 2nd half. You cannot dig yourself in this big of a hole, especially on the road. Really disappointing so far.

I understand Gregg’s rationale of saving timeouts but when you have a use-it-or-lose-it timeout in the first half, use the damn thing, especially when the other team hits a momentum 3 to push the lead to double digits.

Reverse osmosis today on these two teams of what we witnessed in Wichita. Shocks turned the ball over way too much thanks to solid D. by the Cougars along with several self inflicted turnovers as well. They were making throws better than us. We have 1 three pointer by Shaq only? Wow. Okay, I think we are down 9. Can we still win? Of course, but we have to really correct and adapt in a grind out 2nd half to pull this off. The Shocks can do it!!! Will they? Stay tuned and stay positive because our work is cut out for us. Go Shocks!!! We don't mind ugly. Just win!!!

Not only have we made just one 3, we haven't attempted many, which means they are overplaying like crazy. Use guards to set screens for pick and pops. Back cut. We need to make adjustments.

Wow. That was just a terrible half.

Time to see what we're made of. Everything must improve this half, from game plan to effort to shooting to, obviously, taking care of the ball.
