I don't see how Smith only gets 16.5mpg this year? Unless Kyles goes unconscious at the 2 and Murry goes to the 3, isn't Smith practically a mortal lock for starting at the 3 and getting 25+ mpg? IMO - It would take a lot for that not to happen.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

TM or DK can easily play the 3 position - I still think Ben is better off the bench, from what I've seen.Visit the site with the most in-depth coverage of the Missouri Valley -- http://www.examiner.com/missouri-val...al/joseph-book

If he stays healthy and sees the floor often, ranking him this low will prove a joke."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

First off, I believe that the SF position should be separately categorized.
I have no problem with Patterson at #20 but I'm not to fond of the Garrett Stutz Lite analogy. Comparing #'s only maybe, but their styles of play are very diverse from what I've seen.
IMO, if you are going to put Gregory Echenique at number 3 I think Stutz has to be in the top 5. I don't have a problem with Ben Smith at #16 as I don't think his #'s will improve much this season but Stutz should be ranked much more favorably.Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

I think that the list will look very different if you write a follow-up in March. My guess is that Stutz and Smith are higher and Weems is not #1. With Marshall's system and the new front court players coming in, it is possible that none of the Shockers has outstanding stats. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Stutz just hasn't proven to be a guy that can play 30 minutes every night. Maybe I'm wrong, but he isn't nearly as polished as Echenique.Visit the site with the most in-depth coverage of the Missouri Valley -- http://www.examiner.com/missouri-val...al/joseph-book

Stutz is a far, far more polished player. He can score in a variety of ways, both inside and outside. Maybe you could argue that Echenique is a more effective player because the one thing he does (get really deep position) he does quite well, but calling him the more polished player is laughable."Cotton scared me - I left him alone." - B4MSU (Bear Nation poster) in reference to heckling players
