My thoughts in no particular order:

    I can't stand Kyle Weems.
Garrett Stutz is not a forward.
Ben can be much better than #16.
    I hate the off-season.

Fest - I sorta explained the whole forward/center thing in the intro... there are only a handful of true centers in the league, so I lumped them in with the forwards.

I love the offseason... but I love the season even more!

I don't see how Smith only gets 16.5mpg this year? Unless Kyles goes unconscious at the 2 and Murry goes to the 3, isn't Smith practically a mortal lock for starting at the 3 and getting 25+ mpg? IMO - It would take a lot for that not to happen.

I don't live in Wichita so I don't get the local feeds, but I expected Ragland, Murry and Kyles to all start... I think...

TM or DK can easily play the 3 position - I still think Ben is better off the bench, from what I've seen.

I don't see it quite that way. I think Kyles still comes off the bench to relieve Murry. I think Smith starts at the 3.

If he stays healthy and sees the floor often, ranking him this low will prove a joke.
Pretty much. Garrett Stutz hasn't been injury prone in the past so there's no reason to think he won't start every game this year.

First off, I believe that the SF position should be separately categorized.

I have no problem with Patterson at #20 but I'm not to fond of the Garrett Stutz Lite analogy. Comparing #'s only maybe, but their styles of play are very diverse from what I've seen.

IMO, if you are going to put Gregory Echenique at number 3 I think Stutz has to be in the top 5. I don't have a problem with Ben Smith at #16 as I don't think his #'s will improve much this season but Stutz should be ranked much more favorably.

I think that the list will look very different if you write a follow-up in March. My guess is that Stutz and Smith are higher and Weems is not #1. With Marshall's system and the new front court players coming in, it is possible that none of the Shockers has outstanding stats.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

If I was, every guy would have their own page like last time. I'm trying to blend good readability with what I'm being asked to do by examiner.com - sorry if it doesn't come off that way.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with this. I don't know how much Echenique you have seen, but he's a monster. He could be a 15-10 guy if Dougie stays on the perimeter next year.

Stutz just hasn't proven to be a guy that can play 30 minutes every night. Maybe I'm wrong, but he isn't nearly as polished as Echenique.

Evidently, you did not watch the WSU / Washington State game during the NIT run.

Polished as Echenique? You've got to be kidding right? Echenique has exactly zero finesse in his game. If he establishes really deep post position he is tough to stop, but otherwise his game is very limited.

Stutz is a far, far more polished player. He can score in a variety of ways, both inside and outside. Maybe you could argue that Echenique is a more effective player because the one thing he does (get really deep position) he does quite well, but calling him the more polished player is laughable.

Ben Smith will be a huge key for the Shockers next year. If he can pace himself, like a senior does, WSU will be nails come March.

sidenote: I didn't read the list, but from what I gather by the responses, Smith was ranked #16?
