We need to figure out how we can come in contact with the person or people in charge of this. I've I already commented to bush that he has the connections and that he can do it!

Seems to me that if its not an officials time out, there should be no promo... Theorhetically, they can only sell, what, 8 promo spots a game. Otherwise, theres no guarantee. And usually, the called timeouts are when the place is roaring.

Unless something has changed, many in the athletic department read ShockerNet and should be more than familiar with our pissiness over promotions for the past few years.

I don't like it, never have liked it. Why to we have to stoop to stealing a chant from another team. If we don't have enough creative people to come up with an original idea, then we shouldn't have a chant at all.

During games, the athletic department minions make the calls about when things like "You don't go to War" and the "Low Brass Cheer" are played. They have control over this and don't leave it in the hands of the band...it's a real problem and has been for a long time. Somebody in the athletic department needs to get wise and quit meddling. The band has a lot of talent and is restrained so much. New music needs to be played (it's the same old stuff year after year). There is A LOT of creativity in the College of Fine Arts that is being ignored....over and over and over.
