Crazy game, game of half’s. Some people probably thought this would be an easier game, this was set up to be a trap game after the Baylor game. We didn’t play great D the first half and they were shooting lights out. Press woke us up and wore them down, Shamet and Shaq took over the last 10 minutes. Conner very solid game and we started switching on the screens. Good adjustment.

Be glad we Markis is back, missed SHJ tonight

If ever Coach Marshall wanted to get to the locker room to coach angry at halftime, it was last night. We rarely give up 50 points in a half at our barn. Even with the needed adjustments, it took the Shocks a spell to seize this game. At the beginning of the game, I thought Shaq might have a big night and he eventually settled in and the jacks had no answer. Missing him early on to his minor setback, missing SHJ, and still missing Duff, the Shocks still showed resolve with our experienced Seniors and took their best shot and overcame it all with another win. That is what a top 10 team is expected to do but I'll still be more cheery when we get everybody healthy and game ready.

They were shooting it great. They were 8-12 in the first half from 3. Several were fade away threes. Several were from 2-3' beyond the 3 Pt. Line. Not too many rebounding opportunities but we gave them a couple of extra chances too. SDSU played well. My question is "How did MSU beat them by 20 points in South Dakots's backyard and SDSU beat Iowa and Ole Miss on the road? Maybe they play better away from SD?
