    ShockTalk,

Nowhere did I criticize Ricky Bobby or his position.
Nowhere have I disagreed with the assertion that WSU (in its better years) would win 2 or 3 out of 10 against the "chickenhawks".
Nowhere have I disagreed with the assertion that KU has been upset a surprising number of times by mid-majors in the NCAA tournament.

Are you arguing against me, or against some alternate version of me in another universe?

Your joke would be funnier if it were anywhere close to being true. ;-)
Did you mean to say weren't "anywhere close to being true"?

Jamar Howard 4 President (since we're being formal),

Point 1, nowhere did I say you criticized RB's post, which was not a joke, you just validated it while unneccesarily (for a WSU fan I would think) proving a joke about KU not factual. Nobody cared.

Point 2, where did I say you did? You did appear to be coming to the rescue of KU, however, by pointing out that a "funny ha ha" was not true (again, nobody cared).

Point 3, where did I say you did? I was simply curious, based on your ratios, how KU faired as to expectation.

The general joke is that KU, in the Dance, does not appear to perform any better than a similar, quality mid major would have performed, unlike the elitist blue-bloods some of their fans act like being (and you appeared, probably unintentionally, to get your feathers ruffled by proving a KU joke false).

I wasn't arguing until you said I made remarks I didn't make. Whewww.

Wow... I had no idea ku had lost a third of its games to good mids since 2006. Nice research. Could you let me know how many of the wins in that time are neutral/road?

KU's loss to UMASS at the Sprint Center is missing, me thinks.

abc, you are correct. I missed that one.

kcshocker, 10 of those games are NCAA neutral games, many of which were plenty far away from Lawrence to be considered neutral.

And they are 6-4 in those 10 games, barely over .500. And that includes the fact that it took a National Championship caliber team to win 3 of those games.

And they barely survived to beat Davidson in their championship season of 2008.

                      Jamar, what is your point?

And KU plays mid-majors Temple and UMASS at the Sprint Center, but not WSU.

I think WSU would agree to a "neutral" game at the Sprint Center every other year or so.

                          Jamar has no points.

He just posts "facts" that destroy his pro-BCS arguments even more.

My initial point was only to give shoxtop a hard time. He made a joke, and I was a partypooper with some stats to the contrary. Since then, it seems that many people have started arguing with me on issues that I never even brought up.

As I said before, KU has stunk it up in recent years when playing mid-majors in the NCAA Tournament. We have no disagreement there.

kcshocker was completely wrong about the location of the majority of KU's neutral games vs mid-majors. I corrected his statement about location. I never commented on KU's winning % in those neutral games.

I was told numerous times last year (2010) to stop defending WSU and their chances for an atlarge bid. I guess I'll have critics either way.

Also, with this being a WSU board, there are going to be 10 posts making ridiculous comments in WSU's favor for every 1 post in the other direction.
