Gregg in the postgame sure is an experience. Wow, he was jazzed up and talkative. Loved it.

What about that Shocker bench which was highlighted by SHJ. You like 1 on 1 players that also get plenty of assists with points on the board? All 3 injuries tonight were uncalled fouls it appeared to me. After the first 10 minutes the Shocks played some D. Kelly likes the double-doubles and so do we. Malone made a nice unselfish pass to Kelly which was my favorite assist of the night. Austin looked solid tonight. Waaaay too many turnovers and this needs to get shored up period.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

A lot of very good individual performances tonight. Most pleased to witness the progression of Kelly through the years to the player he is today.

Too many turnovers but a playground team like Savanah St will do that to you.
AM did look good. Grabs rebounds with both hands and has a real nice touch around the rim. I think it was the right decision to play him this year. These minutes, however few, will pay dividends next year.
SHJ, happy for the young man. Will be interesting to see what he looks like in March after our first trip through the AAC.
Nice round of applause for Austin at the start. I guess the rumors of a lynching were unfoundedWhere oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

That game did zero to prepare us for Baylor, or for anybody going forward. That was pure junk. Have fun in Division 2, Tigers.
Another game of ups and downs. Whoever said this one seemed like Cal II was right. Lots of unevenness. But then again, when you play garbage like that, it tends to be uneven. Hope LS is ok. CF appeared to be ok. SHJ is obviously ok. Wow, what a night. His speed is crazy. He is light years better in the skill department over Daishon. However, none of that is gonna fly Saturday. He'll get flyswatted all over the place if he tries 90% of the stuff he did tonight. I like him though. Like him a lot.
Need to get healthy. Quickly.
With the ND piss-away game, this game becomes really important for NCAA seeding and maintaining our Top 10 ranking.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I will point out one positive. I think any team needs a gimme game after a trip to Hawaii. Hawaii is such a bizarre environment compared to the rest of the season that a game to get back into a normal environment is probably a good plan. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Welp......I have to be honest, I didn't see Landry go down, but I saw him get up. I was in disaster mode the rest of the game. I expected Conner's career to be over, and SHJ to die on the table.
We've become so spoiled as fans. Are we winning by a wide enough margin, do we have the other team put away early enough. We win by forty something and I'm disappointed the game was even played. I wanted us to hold the ball from the 8 minute mark and just get the hell out of there before Todd Fagen contracted e-coli and Gregg had a stroke.
We're all entitled to our own "baseline" of expectations. God knows this program has provided us all the reasons in the world over the last decade to expect virtually everything.
I was really proud of Gregg for his positive statements after the Notre Dame game. I was surprised, pleasantly so. I'm going to try and learn from that.
I want these guys to get healthy. Especially so with the seniors who have battled for so many years to get to this point. The deserve the chance to finish.
I'd love to see Conner smile. Listen to your father young man, he's a smart guy. Have fun playing the game at which you're so damned good.
I can't worry about what if and where we're going to be seeded. I'm glad to hear Markis is feeling good and anxious to get after it, but it's February before he's back at 100% at best. Landry could barely walk and I can't believe they'd even TRY to play him Saturday. Conner's going to be sore as hell. SHJ's mouth is going to be the size of a football. Zach Brown? Please...tough as nails and doesn't suit up? CJ isn't close to being ready for prime time. Our incredible depth is gone, at least for now. I'm not being defeatist, I'm really not.
I'm going to enjoy watching these guys fight and claw and find a way, whomever may be out there Saturday, and beyond. I'm not going to worry about the results, because I don't think they should bear the burden of them right now.
I read some of the prediction thread #1. Shocks win by double digits? On the road at a top 20 team? I have no idea what's going to happen. Maybe they'll win by 40. But man, Gregg has created a monster.
Oh....there were probably 1000+ empty seats tonight.
