Bad P5 schools are easier to play than average or good mid majors.

    Golden Bears - 62
    Golden Wheat - 91

Three games in three days. Would like to see 3G hold LS's minutes down vs Cal and SM's also.
More minutes for Jones and AM on Monday once game is in hand which should be early. Hope
no one has to play more than 22-24 minutes. I'll say Shocks 87-62

The YOUNG guys have a week off before Cal and have six days before there first post-tournament game. Minutes for anybody shouldn't be a real concern -- except that 3G was talking about conditioning this week.

        We’re playing Cal, not UCLA.

I can see this game looking very much like the Charleston game. I imagine we will go up by about 30 points when the reserves come in to eat minutes. Finish the game up by around 20. Three games in three days at the intensity levels we have played at will take a toll by game three. Final score 87-65

Per KenPom, CofC is #77; Cal is #137. For comparison, Cal would be between Valpo (#134) and Evansville (#144) the 7th and 8th ranked teams in the MVC. They are between the 8th and 9th teams in the AAC with Tulsa 96 and Memphis 138.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cal ends up significantly worse than #137. Lost to #264 and beat #266 by a possession. They’ve already slid 36 spots from their preseason KenPom ranking.

It's difficult to tell. Cal may have some talent and a new good coach but don't know how to play yet. LSU was so badly coached, even though they had talent, they, Never put it together.

We don't have a chance if we have to play 3 games in 3 days with no depth, when the other teams only have to play one or two games in those 3 days.

                        Oh, wait...
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

My primary concern is the wear on Shamet. The ghost of FVV's leg will haunt me for years.

And while I agree we have depth and the other teams are playing 3 games as well, it would be nice to gain the advantage of freshness on day 3, if possible.

                            WSU: 77
                            Cal: 52

Thinkin' same story as last game. 30 pt game for most of the game the Marshall will put in the scrubs and lose a little ground.

The more they play, the less ground our "scrubs" will give up. Our "scrubs" are pretty good players, just haven't had much of a chance to learn the system. Also the return of CJ and MM will make our "scrubs" even better, but only CJ MIGHT help on the island trip.

Very true, I wonder if we were still in the Valley if we could have won it with our bench.
