A big plus versus UMKC that I hope continues was the Shocks cleaning glass with 48 rebounds vesus 20 for our foes. Combine that with our 11 block shots (Shaq had 4 and only 1 foul) and that really glitters toward success if we keep it up. Does anybody know the Shocker team record for blocked shots in a game?

The glaring stat that has to improve was our 14 turnovers which was the same amount UMKC had. UMKC got 6 steals to our 4. Charleston will be a much better group of defenders than the Roos, so the Shocks will work towards shoring that up.

I think they stay fairly close for the first 15 minutes. We go into half time up by 12 and pull away to a 15 to 20 point win.

CoC will try to slow the game down - if they don't we will win big - really big

After watching SHJ - I know why Daishon left. Once he loses a little of the JUCO ball tendencies - he's going to be great.

If we win by less than 20, then we either had an off-night shooting or the other team shot lights out. I don't see either of those happening, especially at home.

Charleston at Wichita State (Monday, 9 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network)

Wichita State, um, justified its ranking in the season opener, winning 109-57. But Charleston is a step up in competition – the Cougars won 25 games last year.

But to go into Wichita and win, against such an experienced bunch, is a tough ask. Six different Shockers scored in double figures on Friday. Wichita State isn’t the most top-heavy team in America, but it could be the deepest.

That doesn’t make the Shockers upset-proof, but it makes them more upset-proof than some of their counterparts. Why? Because if a key player has a bad game, there’s a capable alternative. Wichita State should roll here.

That app won't work unless you have access to CBS Sports Network though your cable subscription.

If you know family/friend with a subscription, that's probably the easiest route to go.

I have Hulu Live for like $40 a month and get virtually every sports network, even ESPN The Ocho and the obscure Fox networks the Big East games are on.
