He proved it at Winthrop. He's proven it here. It'll take the right job/situation for him to leave.

The carrot has been dangled several times since he's been here. He's still here. He just signed a rollover extension to keep his contract at 7 years annually.

This is great news. 4 or 5 games against some decent pro teams and maybe the national team. A good learning experience for all the guys.

You sir are correct. Especially for the freshmen. This will be a great experience and get the youngsters a head start. Plus, it'll give the staff a little better idea on who may be redshirting this season. I can't imagine that we don't have one or two. With that talent we brought in it's hard to pick, but we do have some depth.

A game with national team is a possibility for this trip because Brazil will be preparing for the FIBA Americas Tournament, an Olympic qualifier that kicks off August 30 in Argentina.

Not a guarantee that we'll play them -- but they'll be in camp when we get there, and, given the timing, it's conceivable that they would consider scrimmaging a good NCAA team.

The Brazilian national team is really good. A game against them could either help (watch up close how the pro level teams move the ball around..*whip *snap *zip- layup) or hurt (bruise their confidence and ego's) the Shox.
