What's this summer trip I keep hearing about? Is it kind of like the trip the 06-07 team went on when they played in Canada?

And if I recall, at that time, it was partly to blame for that team's downfall due to fatigue.

Except it will be in Europe (I think), and incoming recruits will be allowed to play, unlike last time.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy that argument at all. Two weeks of practice and five basketball games in early August has nothing to do with a player's physical and mental state in February and March. (Kentucky went this season and seemed to survive it OK.)

I think this trip will be a huge positive for WSU in getting our new post players acclimated to the system so they can hit the ground running when practice starts in October.

I just hope its one of the Canada tournaments (Vancouver, Calgary or Quebec) so I can make the trip.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

They played last time in Canada...I witnessed the Gal Mekel era begin.

Gal is doing quite well in Israel. I think the last time I looked, he was averaging about 12-15 points a game and had an A/TO ratio of almost 2-1.

If you factor out the sprint-to-the-baseline-and-jump-in-the-air-while-flying-out-of-bounds-hoping-to-make-a-play move, then that ratio skyrockets to 47-1.

My two greatest disappointments as a Shocker fan were Gal M. and Kenny M.

                      And maybe Rick Conn.
