I wish WSU sucked enough to lose to 4 other teams in the NCAA the last 10 years, one loss even being in the elite 8.

with the small KU love fest currently going on in this thread, it brings to my mind this question:
As you praise the success of the KU program, at what cost? Would we, as shocker nation, be happy with recruting scandals, ticket scapling scandals, and the general "sliminess" of the Ku program for more success in the NCAA tournament?

Mattdalt, I'm glad you brought that up...the article in the paper the other day about 'longtime'KU fans being upset with the image of KU hoops right now had good merit for discussion...and then, the next day, when the kid from Missouri announced he was going to be a Jayhawk, at the end of the article was the part that said he had changed schools recently because of a team violation.I don't know how severe it was, but it seems like another red flag.
Kids need second chances...I totally get that...but WHEN they get those chances, what do they do with them?I think WSU has been fortunate OR very good judges of character in recent years, and ought to be commended for it.

I think we have lost to all of those schools, other than Bucknell, in the past decade. Unfortunately we have had the chance to play none of the above in the tournament.
KU plays WSU on an annual basis and I cheer for them against everyone but WSU.Wichita State, home of the All-Americans.

Illegal. Expect an arrest, arraignment, jury trial, minimum 30 days in jail and two years probation should you produce that t-shirt. That's just the criminal side. As Ben said, the civil suits will ensue with them proving lost revenues exceeding $100,000 per school, which you will have to pay in punitive damages.

Copyright law is a major, major mess. We're dealing with it at church right now in regards to the use of music. When they say everyone breaks multiple laws a day, it's very likely true. If you're listening to music at your desk at work and someone else can hear it, it's likely a copyright violation. Yeah, I'm serious.

They don't suck. Please stop. You make the rest of Shocker Nation look bad.

Just stop"First off, it was great to come here and play. It was a great atmosphere - an unbelievable home court. What great basketball fans in Wichita. This city has a lot to be proud of with fans like that." Coach Bobby Cremmins

My wife was listening to the local TV news and there was a story about someone who has a whole bunch of "KU 2011 NCAA Champions" shirts printed up and ready to go.
...Oops...
The story was about what to do with the shirts.
My wife had two suggestions I thought were great
1) Give them to homeless people.
2) Put a big red circle with a diagonal slash around the printed part. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Answer: Only if you're a non-BcS school. Then it would probably result in a 15 game suspension.

So instead of 'ku sucks', what if it read "How many times will ku lose to a team they would beat 9 games out of 10?". I have heard that statement or something similar after every one of those losses. It is often used when discussing the ku/wsu matchup as well. Or how about something as simple as "That's why we play the game"
