From the Coach's show it sounds like Reaves is setting up for another year as a brokedick. Mono followed up by foot tendon. Ton of talent there if he can ever see any minutes.

Supposedly Reaves is open to a RS year. HCGM isn't crazy about it.
Also, CJ was in sweats for a few (2-4) practices this week. Anyone know anything?

It's like Christmas Morning !

This is literally what the start of bball season feels like. I even went to bed early last night so it would get here sooner. Just like Christmas Eve when I was 7.

Today is what we have been talkin about since our last Dance. Then after the game ends, we win, and the dust settles, we can fall-back an hour to sleep well as we dream of a great Shocker ride this 2017/18 Season and then spring forward to the Newman Exh. Then it gets even more real as the Shocks march right into perhaps the most highly ranked and exciting Season next Friday. It was not always quite like this here at 21st and Hillside so we appreciate such Shocker madness and excellence. Such ponderings could even cause the Mona Lisa to grin from ear to ear.

Certainly hope that at the end of the season they can brag about having played the #1 BB team in the nation.

It is hard not to be a little nostalgic before this season starts. I remember in the 90's going to see a game in Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City against UMKC because I wanted to see a game in that historic building and the Shockers lost. I felt so disgusted, embarrassed, and really somewhat hopeless after that game. Makes the present so enjoyable and satisfying!

We would like to have a crisp green dollar for all the times in SN past the Shocks were struggling but yet we spoke of a bright black and yellow future that would make hope float such as days that pointed dreams into reality in the Coach T. days and fast-forward into the Marshall Plan. The skeptics said it was impossible here at 21st. and Hillside, the soothsayers told us once we seen it happening that it was only a fluke that would soon pass, but here the Shocks are on basketball fans radar all over the Milky Way. Here's even better news. The best is yet to come IMO. Today continues that Shocker Trek and SN is all-aboard and ready for a fun-packed ride that will blow our hair back and the roof off!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a major spill in the row behind us at the Volleyball match last night. A bottled soft drink which they not doubt tried to put in the cupholders. The bottled drinks are not very secure in the cupholders as these folks found out. Fortunately, they were sitting just to our left and not directly behind us as most of the spill was on the floor of the row we were sitting in.
