Could we please not make fun of Pat Knight. He had some coaching woes at Tech, but at least he had the balls to do a 1 and 1 with us where many, many of the Major 6 would not. He handled his dismissal at Tech with a boatload of class. My hat is off to him and he will always be in the top part of my list.

Hey I got nothing against the guy but what if he goes 55-65 the next 4 years at Lamar? Is he still going to be on your list?

I didn't say the list was for coaching ability.

Best of luck to Pat Knight. I also liked that he had the balls to play us home and home. I think we should return the favor.

So does this thread mean the WSU Basketball season is officially finished? ;-)
"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

Maybe if he has that program headed in the right direction in a couple years, but I think we are set on our #300 RPI teams on the schedule.

Was it Pat or Bob who scheduled us?
