I personally would not have blamed ADES if Marshall left.

If he was going to leave, he was going to leave, period.

The primary reason for moving on wouldn't have been a case of his current boss.


The chief concern would have been who was in charge of the replacement search and whom was selected.

That is the scary proposition we fortunately do not have to deal with - for a while.


WSU is an institution of higher education, learning and training.

It's the concept that I think is important. But yeah, maybe the wins could be graduated 1st & 2nd win, $25,000; 3rd win, $50,000; fourth win $75,000; 5th win, $100,000 and 6th win, $150,000. That would makit if $425,000.

I'm also hoping that this is not going to all be about Marshall and that the Administration will also take care of the coaching staff. We have some really good asst coaches and it would be nice to keep them.

Also, as an aside, does anyone know how much longer President Beggs will be here. I thought I had read sometime earlier this season that he was going to be retiring. If that is true, I certainly hope they get someone as passionate about basketball at Dr. Beggs is. I wouldn't want to see all that has been built to this point crumble because we got the wrong guy (or gal) in there.
