Sunday afternoon a source close to the VCU basketball program confirmed to me that Alden left a voicemail with Teague today.
Teague nor Smart has responded to Alden.
I have since confirmed through the same VCU source and a major college athletic director that North Carolina State is in hot pursuit of Smart, with the Wolfpack prepared to offer a more generous financial package that what Missouri was likely to propose to the VCU coach.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

If Marshall left he would be my #1 choice (though I'm sure Elgin wouldn't allow that).

I'm sorry, Ben Jacobsen would be your #1 choice, did I understand that correctly?

Rumor is that Univ. of Miami coach Frank Haith is a very possible candidate for the Mizzou job. The dust may not settle and help everyone feel better for a while."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Now this is how you fraudulently edit a wikipedia page...
Frank Haith (born November 3, 1965 in Queens, New York) is the current head men's basketball coach at the University of Missouri, as reported by reputable sources such as Bernie, Twitter, and Tigerboard (1970s college message board, that is continually overloaded, I mean, seriously, do those people not know of a thing called a software update?). The NIT melts in fear at the name of Haith.
